| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR CONDOS FOR RENT IN BRANSON MISSOURI: What should I bring? You might enjoy your own pool towels. You will need to furnish your own food. There will be dishwasher soap, detergent for the washer, etc. How far from Branson is your condo? About 7 miles out of the hustle and bustle of the show areas. Boat rentals and Boat docks??? There are 2 boat docks down on Indian Point about 2 miles from our resort. Table Rock Marina and Indian Point Marina. There you can rent jet skies, boat etc., but please note that the rental of water toys and the cost of fuel is extra. Do you have discount tickets? We do not furnish any tickets with the rental. However, in the resort office they have a few tickets that you can get discounts on. There is also a few places along Highway 76 in Branson that sell discount tickets. Is there a golf course close by? There are golf courses all around the area. Check with the office on what courses give discounts to our renters. What restaurants do you suggest? There are many wonderful restaurants throughout the Branson area to cover everyone's taste buds. We found a very unique little restaurant we always go to for breakfast. It is called Billy Gails. It is next to Silver Dollar City Camp Ground on 265. It has the biggest pancakes you will ever find and the friendliest service. Gail will always greet you with: "how are you kids today". We never leave Branson without going to the Grand Buffet on 76 across from Wal-mart. It has everything!!! A good Mexican restaurant to try is Casar Fiantes. If you are looking for seafood and steaks, try Landry's. Also, see our list of restaurants here. What shows do you suggest? There are many great shows. We always enjoy the evening show at Silver Dollar City. Our other favorites are: Legends, Dixie Stampede, Showboat, Presley's. Our visitors are very good to occasionally write a show that they particularly enjoyed in our guest book at the condo. When you come, you can take a look and see what our other guests recommend. Click here for a fairly complete list of shows and attractions. Is there horseback riding close by? Uncle Ike's trails are on Highway 76 just west of Indian Point. It is only minutes away. Can we have pets? We have decided not to allow pets in our unit; not because of issues with pet owners but due to allergy issues that may occur for subsequent renters. We appreciate your cooperation with this decision. Can you have more than 6 people in a unit? Sorry! Due to fire codes, only six are allowed in the units at night. You can have additional guests in your unit during the day. What are some sights to see? To get the feel of how the Branson area was many years ago, you need to go to Shepherd of the Hills to see a live outdoor story of the people and their lives that this area is known for. It is great! Going to Silver Dollar City allows you to step back in time and walk the streets of the Ozarks back in the time of the Hatfields and the McCoy's. Visit the live shows in the saloon, ride the train and meet the robbers, visit the old church, stop in and see what's cooking in the old cabin. The food is great throughout the park from large skillet meals to the kettle corn and funnel cakes. Don't miss the most awesome cave around and top your day off with the outdoor evening show. This is all included in your ticket. There are many rides and fun things for all ages to enjoy. If you enjoy Silver Dollar City in the summer, you will love it at Christmas time. The lights are spectacular and the warmth and Christmas spirit is flowing very high in Silver Dollar City. There is no gambling in Branson but a couple of hours to the west in Joplin and across into Oklahoma there is gambling . . . .
